GAZON
Is an audiovisual collective launched in 2010 by Denise Pakes and David Gluck.
While both originally come from an electronic dance music background, their work as Gazon revolves around, slow, dubby and cinematic music, backed by a somewhat hallucinated visual world. This new identity provides Denise and David the possibility to get deeper into the exploration of this psychedelic side of music and video they’ve alreday been working on throughout their earlier works.
Gazon is now becoming an open collective, with the inclusion of Joost Haas, who created the video clip for Gazon’s Antilounge 8 feature and who’s well known for his crazy installation skills, and Emmanuel Flores Elias, a true new generation code artist whose deconstructed, code generated visual world extends Gazon’s sonic realm perfectly.
